We’ve been home for about a week and I just realized I’m almost 60 days into my sabbatical. I promised myself and the family I wouldn’t think about a job until September but I’ve started to have some interesting conversations that might shape my decision on my future plans.  But first it’s time to plan our next beach adventure – Grand Cayman.  We’re excited we get to share the sun, beach and drinks with our  Iowa “besties” and the kids are excited to travel with some of their Grapevine Faith friends, in total we’ll be a group of 20 +/-.

When we return the kids go back to school so we’ll take a short hiatus from long haul travels until we head to New Zealand in November and Hawaii in December.  For those following our adventures if you have any ideas for short weekend trips to interesting spots please drop me a note.
